Portfolio Manager/Analyst

Thomas Uutala is a portfolio manager/analyst for Diversified Equity Management and member of the team managing the Diversified Equity strategy. In this role, he helps support and manage the strategy on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for research coverage of the Energy, Industrials, Materials and Consumer Discretionary sectors. Diversified Equity Management is a Victory Capital investment franchise.

Before joining the Diversified Equity team, Mr. Uutala was a research analyst for Victory Capital. Previously, he worked on a convertible arbitrage desk for Stark Investments and for Crabel Capital Management. He has been quoted in a variety of publications and media outlets, including the Associated Press, Bloomberg News, Bloomberg Radio, Dow Jones News, BusinessWeek and Reuters.

Mr. Uutala holds a B.S. from Marquette University and an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, where he participated in the Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP). He is a CFA® charterholder.
